Service Description
Since pregnancy is a long and arduous process, most physical exercises during this period are supported by doctors and ourselves as they facilitate pregnancy and childbirth. We strongly recommend starting Pilates a year before pregnancy. This will minimize the risk of conditions such as hunching, back problems, knee problems, and spinal curvature that may occur during pregnancy. In the prenatal Pilates method using equipment, the machine completely eliminates gravity; the pregnant person only feels the area that needs to be worked and does not experience strain in other areas, which does not reduce the person's performance within 45 minutes. As is known, Kegel exercises also target the pelvic floor muscles, supporting easier pushing and painless childbirth. We strongly recommend Kegel exercises alongside equipment-based Pilates to our pregnant students. After the first three months, we work in parallel with the obstetrician, taking into account the posture of the students who come to us and the types of problems they experience during this period.
